With more than 40 years of Real Estate development and home building experience, Mario J. Gonzales is a veteran of the trade, possessing a special understanding of the unique desert environment where he lives and raised his family. As Chief Executive Officer and and President of GHA Companies, GHA is regarded as one of the premier privately-owned full-service development companies in the desert and looked to as a leader in the industry. Mario found his passion in the construction industry starting as a construction laborer and immediately excelled to the point of forming Gonzales Construction, the first of many successes as a concrete and general contracting company in 1981. As his company grew, he transitioned into a focus on complete construction of single family and multi-family homes. Gonzales transitioned the company’s focus to the construction of single and multi-family homes. Gonzales Construction showed continued success in the planning and building multi-unit developments and custom homes in Joint Ventures with other local development companies and private investors.
In 1997 he founded GHA Enterprises Inc, a multi-faceted development company with divisions specializing in land acquisitions, entitlements, commercial construction investments and housing developments reaching almost two billion in acquisitions and sales. Mario holds partnerships with other industry leaders dedicated to the betterment of the Coachella Valley.
